Fleet Collision Technician

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Fleet Collision Technician to repair and restore commercial fleet vehicles to manufacturer and company quality standards. This role is responsible for structural and non-structural repairs, panel replacement, frame alignment, and ensuring fleet vehicles are returned to service safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has experience with medium- and heavy-duty fleet vehicles, strong collision repair skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs on fleet vehicles.

  • Repair or replace damaged body panels, bumpers, doors, hoods, and other components.

  • Complete frame and unibody repairs using measuring and alignment equipment.

  • Weld, straighten, and fabricate components as needed.

  • Remove and reinstall mechanical and electrical components during the repair process.

  • Perform damage assessments and document repair needs.

  • Maintain repair quality while meeting productivity goals.

  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of collision repair experience.

  • Experience repairing commercial fleet, medium-duty, or heavy-duty vehicles preferred.

  • Knowledge of frame repair, welding, panel replacement, and body alignment.

  • Ability to read repair estimates and follow OEM repair procedures.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • I-CAR certifications are preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 75 pounds.

  • Stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in a repair shop environment.

  • Safely operate collision repair tools and equipment.
